Visiting Europe for the first time? You would like to know from where you have to start? Aren’t you sure which cities deserve a visit? Here are the answers:

Venice and the Veneto region- Who hasn’t dreamt to visit Venice and take a romantic ride on the Gondola and stay at one of those gorgeous hotels? You can be sure that Venice is a city to be visited at least once in a lifetime but there is no need to spend more that 2 days. In one day you should visited the most important sights such at Piazza San Marco, the Doge’s Palace, Basilica di San Marco, the Rialto Bridge and take a boat trip to the three wonderful islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. There is obviously much more to see and since walking is a must in Venice, you can discover the beauty of the city while walking around.

Verona is a city in the same region and it is the famous city of the double famous Romeo and Juliet. There you can visit the Palazzo Barberi, the Amphitheatre, the Piazza dell’ Erbe a pictoresque square with a lovely market, Palazzo Maffei where sculptures of six divinities can be founds (such as Hercules, Minerva and Apollo) and Juliet’s Balcony.

Valletta – Capital of the sunny island of Malta, Valletta is a harbour city and is listed by UNESCO on the World Heritage list. Valletta is a mecca for history, shopping, dining and sightseeing. One can visit the famous St John’s Cathedral, with one of the most remarkable floorss in the world, The Upper Barakka Gardens for a wonderful sightseeing experience, the National Museum of Fine Art boasts the biggest collection of paintings by Mattia Preti and much more. Shopping in Valletta and nearby linked cities is great and so is eating out.Valleta links you with all the villages and towns in Malta. Buses are cheap and you can travel four times a day for one week at around 20 Euros (that’s less than 30$)!

Barcelona – the capital and most densily populated city of Catalonia and the second largest city in Spain. Also, Barcelona is a major economic centre. Barcelona is an important cultural centre and a major tourist destination. Once should visit the Labyrinth Park named after the garden maze it contains, the famous Gran Teatre del Liceu opera theatre, the National Museum of Art of Catalonia with a famous collection of Romanesque art… Nearby Port Aventura is fun for all ages… very similar maybe smaller but just as fun as Gardaland in Italy. Barcelona is a city for everyone, every age!

Other cities to be visited are definitely Oslo in Norway, Bremen in Germany, Frankfurt in Germany, Paris in France, Zurich in Switzerland and many many more. You name it. Europe’s got it!
