Usually happens: Easter and almost all your friends have gone partying and are somewhere paradisiacal sunbathing with cocktails in hand. And you are – as usual and usual – at home without knowing what to do. Do not get locked up, there are plans in the city to be made and thousands of restaurants to discover. If you are from Barcelona and your ideas have gone for a walk and you have left without any cool restaurant in mind to be able to pamper your stomach, here is a good selection. The denominator in common? All of them follow the trends of the moment but they are very different from each other.
Parking Pizza. C / Londres 98. The pizza takes a new direction and becomes fashionable again. And all thanks to this restaurant that is located in an old restored parking. The hipster air invades the room and the pizzas are delicious. Of course, being fashionable you should go a little earlier (do not accept reservations) and wait while your mouth watering. Among all its variety we are left with truffle, Fontina and Reggiano parmesan.
KAO Dim Sum. C / del Bisbe Sivilla 48. Dim Sum restaurant fever arrives in Barcelona with the Kao family (Shanghai Barcelona). A host of different varieties of Dim Sum and dumplings (diversity of empanadillas of all types of pasta and filling) make up your menu and the fusion of flavors is present in each of his creations. Any recommendation? We would say that all are good, although personally we are left with the so-called Sao Mai de gambas (tapioca pasta stuffed with red prawns).
The Mercat de la Princesa. C / Flassaders 21. Here is the eternal dilemma: one of your group wants to dine Japanese, the other one wants pasta while you just want a hamburger. What to do? Mercat de la Princesa. This place has many food stalls in the same space and they share a dining room so that everyone can enjoy their favorite food without sacrificing anything.
Side. C / Consell de Cent 329. If what you want is a restaurant that meets the three B perfectly (good, nice and cheap), it is best to opt for the Lateral. Well known in Madrid, in Barcelona we have a place located in Consell de Cent 329. Our favorite dish for spring now? The salad of guacamole, mozzarella, tomatitos with pesto and tortilla chips.
Teresa Carles. C / de Jovellanos 2. I admit, I am one of those who stopped taking meat and others for a year. And although I can not consider myself a vegetarian at 100% -sometimes I eat fish-, the truth is that the road has not been made hard thanks to proposals such as those found in Teresa Carles. The vegetarian restaurant par excellence in Barcelona has dazzled even the most carnivorous, and it does not surprise us.

Saint leaf. Av. De Mistral 54. From the Adrià brothers, this restaurant pays homage to Mexican cuisine. With elaborate dishes and strange mixtures, this place is the paradise of different flavors where mixtures create unique dishes. Highly recommended
Santa Leaf Barcelona
Makamaka Passeig de Joan de Borbó 76. Living in an eternal summer is possible if one approaches Makamaka. His good rollismo as well as his cosmopolitan people makes this place the favorite during all the seasons of the year. His menu is varied: salads, hamburgers, delicious pica pica (his variety of humus has us in love) and a selection of cocktails perfect to start a Saturday and extend it until dawn.
